NHS Inducts New Members

On October 22, the YISS Chapter of the National Honor Society held its induction ceremony, starting off with a special speech from esteemed Principal Baniszewski. After duly comparing NHS to the Knights of the Round Table, in actuality the Knights of YISS, Mr. Baniszewski congratulated our new inductees: Christine A, Diane K, Matthew C, Junyoung B, Joshua K, Yunee P, Soo L, Jasper L, Pablo Y, Isabel L, Rachel K, Jeiho K, Misheel B, Sidney S, and Suna C.
This was followed by a rousing performance by the Tri-M Senior Chapter. The beautiful orchestral music and singing presentation led to brief words from elected officers Stephanie S, Hannah K, Kevin P, Alberta Y, and Jessica C on what they planned for the society this year.
Many thanks to NHS officers as well as club sponsor and advisor Mr. Thomas for their part in organizing the ceremony to welcome its new members and congratulate them on their proud achievement.
